Shiku Garu Projects recently did a project in conjunction with Kimochi Sound, for their first 12" vinyl release. A group of 90 1" circular stickers were hand made in groups of three, to be distributed to those participating in the pre-launch fundraiser.
There are new gyaru paintings in the works as well! They'll be posted soon!

Exciting news {!!_!!} the Tonally event is getting an upgrade!
beginning February 18th, Tonally will take place twice a month!
every 1st and 3rd thursday, come to Juniors in pilsen (2058 w cermak) for a night of deep and groovy electronic music, hosted by Slowerson and Dreamlogicc {!_!}
the final "Tuesday Edition" of Tonally will be February 2nd, from 9 till 130am. Chicago electronica whiz Protman will be headlining the night.

Tonally - January 5th, 2010
for the third installment of the Tonally series, ambient electronic artist Sibilant will be headlining the night.
Sibilant's blend of field recordings, abstract sounds, and idm grooves constantly propel the listener forward through her sound scape washes. This will be your last chance to see Sibilant in Chicago, or anywhere else in the USA for that matter, for some time. At the end of January she will be departing for Grenada, to pursue a medical career.
Also special for January, Chicago photographer and model Wendy Alas will have some of her work on display. Through projections and large prints, Wendy's delicate fashion portraiture will set the perfect stage for sibilant's wintry sounds.
As always, Slowerson, Dreamlogicc, and Gravitymax will be on hand as Tonally Residents, peppering your ears and eyes with tonalll candy

Upcoming happenings - december 2009
as the calendar year ends, the SGP year begins. Two brand new releases are slated for the end of the year.
December 31st will see the first flash-drive multimedia album release for shiku garu projects (and the first we've heard of from anyone {@_@} ) in the form of the new dreamlogicc ep, RE:.
dreamlogicc is justin james, who is also the founder of shikugaru projects. this will be the 5th full length release from drmlgcc, and the second for Shiku Garu Projects. His album will be accompanied by a limited edition box set of images as well as special videos included on the album.

January 1st is the release date for the debut album by Inter Sect, a new group whose sound is a fusion of grimey bass, atmospheric rhythms, and rhymes in russian and english by singer We Are Aliens.
Their multimedia live performances are quite elaborate, and several are in the works for early 2010.
